    a) DBMS

    Answer: Database Management System (DBMS) is a tool  for managing and manipulating information of a database. It is designed to store, retrieve, define and manage data in a database.


    b) Field Type

    Answer: The field type determines the type of data which will be entered by a user in a particular field (alphanumeric, numeric, date, and so on).

    c) Record

    Answer: A record is collection of organised data or related facts. It is (sometimes called row) is a group of fields within a table that are relevant to a specific entity. 

    d) Field Name

    Answer: PrinterField name is the name given to the particular column in a table. It indicate what data is contained in each column. 

    e) Tables

    Answer: A table stores information that are stored under records(rows) and fields (columns). In a table every field has different name. i.e. Table is a structure that organises data into rows and columns - forming a grid.
